This will be my first post of the new year…I know you’re probably thinking “five days late”. Alas a lot had been going on in life, in fact just last night my engine completed stalled while I was driving it off the exit ramp, right up the street from our house. Ugh! But geico sent a tow truck for me, and we got it to the repair shop. The guys there are actually looking at it right, to see why she is sick…and hopefully they won’t charge me my entire arm and left leg to fix her. Other than that, the first few days of the new year have been fairly good to me. I’m looking at a new job, just feel its my time to move on. We’re also looking at (albeit preemptively) houses for us to buy, once the babe gets out of law school. We’re also thinking of renting a house next year versus another apartment. I also think there might be some new bling in the near future, that I am soooo completely and overly excited about. I am, however, still trying to maintain my cool!! This year I think I will be starting at least one series, which will produce a more consistent posting. I’ll keep you posted on all the details.
We made it through…
26 Dec…Christmas completely unscathed…at least most of us…I hope! I’m currently writing this blog on brand new handy dandy iPad….ohhhhh how I love it. I was almost afraid that I’d leave all my other electronics behind, but I realize that sometimes I would prefer to still use my laptop with an actual keyboard. Now on to the Kate spade website to order my new iPad case!
overly trendy
15 DecI’m usually not overly trendy with my fashion, but I sometimes try to incorporate a thing or two here and them into my mostly classic and slightly preppy wardrobe. Insert wedge sneakers. I’ve been on the fence about them for months, but about 2 weeks ago I ordered some. I wore them yesterday, and was instantly in love! They’re comfy, hip and dare I say…kind of sexy. I got a few compliments on them too!! I went cheapy (in case I really didn’t like them) and got the gold-ie ones from target online. Has anyone else tried this trend?
I’m a sucker for an accessory
1 Dec
Stainless Steel Hammered Tumbler, Gold – 16 fl oz.
Any kind of accessory really…and this is such a gorgeous yet functional one…I couldn’t pass it up! Those who know me, know that I can’t survive a day with a coffee and my coke zero (with a straw of course!!), otherwise I wouldn’t make it through the day. So if you have to drink something that makes your breathe most assuredly un-pleasant, then at least it can come out of something really cute!
my latest find!
30 NovDelman’s Fiona heel, so ladylike and sassy…originally $325….the price I paid? $39!! I sufficiently think there are no additional words needed!!
