I’m usually not overly trendy with my fashion, but I sometimes try to incorporate a thing or two here and them into my mostly classic and slightly preppy wardrobe. Insert wedge sneakers. I’ve been on the fence about them for months, but about 2 weeks ago I ordered some. I wore them yesterday, and was instantly in love! They’re comfy, hip and dare I say…kind of sexy. I got a few compliments on them too!! I went cheapy (in case I really didn’t like them) and got the gold-ie ones from target online. Has anyone else tried this trend?
Stainless Steel Hammered Tumbler, Gold – 16 fl oz.
Any kind of accessory really…and this is such a gorgeous yet functional one…I couldn’t pass it up! Those who know me, know that I can’t survive a day with a coffee and my coke zero (with a straw of course!!), otherwise I wouldn’t make it through the day. So if you have to drink something that makes your breathe most assuredly un-pleasant, then at least it can come out of something really cute!
Delman’s Fiona heel, so ladylike and sassy…originally $325….the price I paid? $39!! I sufficiently think there are no additional words needed!!
I hope I am not the only one who has heard of the alliance of Target with Neiman Marcus for a holiday collection. I am too stoked! Anyone who knows me knows that I L.O.V.E. Target, and even though my wallet doesn’t fully appreciate Neiman Marcus, I still manage to get them to play together every once in a while! LOL! But this holiday collection…talk about mixing high and low. And the few items that I’ve seen from the collection…simply gore!
Chambray shirt, a vest, a black legging, a colored bootie, big watch and an oversized tote= my weekend uniform…unless I’m going out. Comfy yet still sassy and classy.
Washington DC is known for lots of things, but fashion it is not. DC is the nation’s capital, and government seat, and so of course it is definitely “suit city”. Suits are usually considered to be conservative wear, but I think a lot of people would be surprised to hear that DC is a very liberal town. And even though we’re not a NYC or even an LA, we do love to shop. DC happens to contain one of the country’s richest streets, Wisconsin Avenue. Wisconsin Ave starts in Georgetown, which houses everything from the Betsey Johnson store to Lacoste. Going towards Maryland, Wisconsin Ave crosses into Chevy Chase, and Chevy Chase is the town that houses the coveted Mazza Gallerie. There’s a Neiman’s, a Bloomies, a Jimmy Choo, a LV, a Gucci, and the list goes on! I love when I have the opportunity (and frankly a couple of extra dollars) to be able to scamper over to Mazza Gallerie.
I’m in a “all black everything mood lately”, simply for the simple, sleek, sophistication of it all. I love every bit of it!
